Bushfire Education

In response to Recommendation 6 of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission, the Victorian Government commissioned the development of teaching and learning materials to ensure all Victorian children and learners acquire the knowledge and skills that will enable them to learn about, prepare for, respond to and recover from bushfires.

This website provides digital resources, teaching and learning activities, advice and links for the delivery of bushfire education in Victorian early childhood settings, and Victorian primary and secondary schools. The materials foster learner awareness, safe behaviours and knowledge about bushfires.
